Danielle and I just got back from the cinema. We caught a late showing of "Michael Clayton" which was enjoyable. Already the car has been great to have because we haven't been able to get to the movie theater on our bikes. Other than that the day was uneventful because we actually spent the entire afternoon cleaning the house. This place gets dirty fast and none of the other house mates really like the place as clean as Danielle and I do so we have been doing the brunt of the cleaning. It sucks to have to clean all the time but I'd rather clean then live in a dump. Last week I spent a long time scrubbing the shower clean. The next day there was someones snot on the tiles so I had to put up a sign in the bathroom telling people to refrain from blowing their snot all over the shower. Rock bottom if you ask me.
I need to start a job this week. Hopefully I get one soon!
I just remembered that Danielle and I went for a long bike ride this morning before the sun got really bright. We biked along the ocean and took some nice pictures. I don't have them uploaded yet so stay tuned.

Ha. You said "the cinema". Sounds like someone is about one step away from an accent to me...
Your house, in terms of utter grossness and lack of concern on your housemates' part sounds like my dorm's common areas. People are disgusting. Nicole and I have both put up signs in the kitchen asking people to clean their crap or it gets thrown out. It's actually the most disgusting thing I have seen in my life. Ugh.
Try the river buddy...it wasn't the ocean. But it was a totally a sweet bike ride.
Living with people who don't seem to care about cleanliness sucks. At least we've taken care of the moth bodies, for now.
ok seriously I need a picture of this no snot sign. Please post of! That is epic.
That bit about the snot is bloody hilarious. I love it. I, too, have left signs in my little boarding house. Most notably for people to cover their food whilst in the microwave. Mom would be proud. The sign is in French.
Anyhow, I watched a pretty amazing documentary about my two favourite things at the moment, Iceland & Sigur Ros. I'm getting closer to going there--just found a flight on May 1 from Halifax for $298 USD!!!
Your bro,
Winston.
Just as a matter of interest one of our long time goldsmithes here at the store had a Nissan Pulsar that was a two door sporty looking car with covered headlights. . . they were here for a while way back . . . he drove his to death and it lasted very well
Claire - cinema was added to be funny. That's what they say down here. I didn't think anyone except Danielle would pick it up.
Mike - I'll try to upload a pic of the sign with is still up.
Winston - Iceland?
dad - I hope the pulsar lasts
