Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone. Danielle and I have done our best to make it feel like Christmas here in Perth without friends and family around. At least Danielle and I are together for the holidays. Its nearly 40*C right now and in the heat it just doesn't feel like Christmas. I'm used to snow or at least cold weather. It'll take some getting used to.

Danielle and I made a Christmas dinner yesterday including: turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, and pumpkin. It was tasty! Neither of us had cooked turkey before and it turned out well. The two people we're living with are both from China and they ate dinner with us. One of the housemates made some dim-sum for us as an appetizer. All the food was great and the company was excellent. They are hilarious.

After dinner we played UNO and some board game called Settlers of Catan. Good times.

Hey Spence,
We raised a wine-glass to you at Christmas dinner...one to McGee as well.
I also washed Mom's car today at Delta Car Wash, because I figured that's what you'd have done.
Have fun down there. Aileen is on her way to Hong Kong on Dec.31, so she'll be comparatively close.
Wince.
