Well we didn’t make it to Rot-O after all. Instead, we went to the beach near our house with some of Danielle’s Canadian friends from school. We had a great time in the water and playing Frisbee on the beach. It was my first time actually going into the Indian Ocean. How exciting! The water was really clear compared to the ocean in Hawaii and the temperature was perfect. Luckily there were no jelly fish sightings or stings. I got rocked by a couple waves but nothing too crazy. We’re both looking forward to heading back to the beach; I can’t believe we waited so long to actually go in the water. Good times had by all.

We must go back asap...soon it will be winter and then we will have forgotten how fun it was. Good thing I have another week off in three weeks!
