Thunder

It was cloudy and muggy outside today. Strange weather for Perth but definitely a welcomed change from the blinding sunlight of most days. Currently, it’s nearly 1AM and I’m up studying some pharmacology notes. It’s really quiet in the house at this time and makes for a great studying environment. Just a few minutes ago, completely unexpectedly, I heard the loudest thunder I have ever experienced in my lifetime. I literally leapt out of my chair! It was terrifying! It took a few seconds for me to figure out that the sound was thunder. Then it suddenly started pouring rain and after about a minute the rain completely stopped. Weird. That’s pretty much the most exciting thing going on at 1AM here in Perth. I better get back to the books… We’ve got a 7:45 AM lecture regarding that lot of vaccinations which are required for the hospital rotation later this year.

You get to do a hospital rotation? That is awesome.

The image of you jumping out of your chair made me lol for real.

I remember you jumping out of the chair at 1AM...you scared me!

I didn't know this lecture today was on your vaccinations. You poor thing. You're going to come home and be all shook up. Then I'll give you a practice needle to calm you down! JJ! Maybe some pancakes, or maybe we'll go buy umbrella's! :)
