Today is July 15. This time last year I left the Edmonton international airport en-route to Perth. I almost missed that flight because they changed the gate number and moved take off time thirty minutes sooner. I hadn’t heard the announcements over the intercom but I sure was surprised to be the only person waiting at my gate. Luckily a flight attendant came by my gate to check for passengers just before take off. Once he got me to the correct gate I was on the plane and it took off almost immediately. I wonder what would have happened had I missed that plane.

I know that this is a completely serious post, but the ending made it sound like a synopsis for a cheese-fest London Drugs mystery novella. I love it.
I know exactly what would have happened if you missed that flight. We'd both be in deadmonton, not living it up in the zion, but rather worrying about getting shot. Perth is no zion, but I just had to add that in there. Ah that fateful day that changed everything...
you would have become what you were always ment to be.
You would have joined forced with the few.
You would become one of the most elite.
You, would be a contract killer with your friend mike gregg.
Epic fail.
