
So, we decided to go do something fun (for once) since we're leaving later tonight. The 'thing' to do in Perth is go to the beach and that's what we did. Pictures are below. Then we went to Fremantle to check things out. The picture at the top shows the trail from the parking lot to the beach.
Danielle and I collected these shells off the beach. I have just packed them in my suitcase for my dear mother.

You can see about 15 kite surfers in this photo. It was really windy!

This is one of the buildings of the Notre Dame University of Australia. Most of Fremantle looks like this.
The yellow tent is for the surf lifesavers (beach lifeguards). They patrol the busy beaches. I'm happy to go in the water if they're nearby. There were about ten of them sitting in that tent - I think they volunteer.
