Spiders!

The other day Danielle and I were sitting across from each other talking. All of the sudden I noticed what looked like a spider on her forehead. At first, I thought I was hallucinating or something (this is plausible based on the amount of stress I am currently under). Then it scurried across here face and she started swatting at it. It wasn’t a small spider either.

Freaky.

Swans

A recent post on the blog "." mentioned, and pictured, a swan. This got me thinking.

We have swans in Perth. Actually the river that is 40 feet from the pharmacy building and 5 minutes walk from my house is called the Swan River. However, the swans on this river are not the graceful white swans you're undoubtedly picturing... these ones are black swans and I think they look evil. I'll try to snap a picture of my own but for now this one from wikipedia does the job.

Oral Exams part deux

Well, it could have and should have gone better than it did. I'm not too happy about it because I put a lot of work into studying but that's the way it goes.

One of the five scenarios was a amoxicillin script for a child with a penicillin allergy. I found a suitable replacement antibiotic(cefaclor) and was satisfied with that question. Another case on asthma went well but there was a question on serotonin syndrome which didn't go too well.

Now I've got 3 reports to get done by the end of the week (2 due Thursday and one Friday). Its going to be tight. Then a dispensing exam on Monday.

Oral Exams

As a said in my previous post I’m really busy with school. October is just packed with a crap-load of work. I’m exhausted and I’m seriously sick of this. Tomorrow I’ve got an oral exam worth 25% of my final mark. I’m really stressing about it. I swear these things literally take years off of my life expectancy from the stress-factor. I’ll post tomorrow with my post exam repot.
