Nursing Home Review

I met my patient today. He is a friendly 91 year old man. When I asked him what his main health concern was he told me that his biggest problem is that he needs some double-A batteries from his voice recorder. Pretty funny. Actually his health appears to be above average considering his age. After meeting him I went back to the nurses station to read his medical history and it turns out he's Canadian and he fought in WWII. I have to go back next week to follow up with him.

Other than that I worked some more on my research project today. We've determined that the Perfalgan is stable in glass and PVC. Now were checking the same in the presence of drugs which are normally co administered with perfalgan like morphine and fentanyl (~100x more potent than morphine). The next step is to head over to the children's hospital to pick up some more PVC bags and the drugs of interest.

If this guy was a few years older he could be your grandpa. So many similarities. Good times. I bet he was really happy you had a chat to him! :)
